EASY NO BAKE VEGAN OREOS (GLUTEN FREE - PALEO)

It’s been a long time since I’ve eaten oreos, because of my acne as you know it. Even though apparently they would be vegan. They still contain gluten and sugar (and other chemical stuff i’m pretty sure), so I don’t eat them. Anyway, I don’t miss it because I found alternatives, like this vegan oreo recipe 😉

Tell me if it’s the same for you, but I find that as soon as we start eating better, then we don’t really crave the things we used to eat before…

A little anecdote about the oreos ! I discovered the oreos when I was in elementary school, and I loved it right away. A friend of mine shared some with me (that’s how I discovered them hihi). I found them strange, because it was not usual to eat cakes of this color. I think I felt American when I ate them haha !

Ingredients

For: 11 parts
  • ⅔ cup + 2 tbsp  of almonds
  • ½ cup of dates
  • ¼  cup of cocoa powder
  • ¼  cup of flax seeds
  • 1  tbsp of agave syrup
  •   Some water
  •  A pinch of salt
  • ⅔ cup + 2 tbsp  cashew nuts
  • 1 tbsp of coconut oil
  • 1 tbsp of agave syrup
  • 1/2  tsp Vanilla powder
  •   Some plant milk (I used vanilla soymilk, but you can also use water).
Preparation:
20 min
Ready in:
20 min

Instructions

  1. Start by soaking the almonds and dates in hot water while you prepare and measure the other ingredients.
  2. TO MAKE THE COOKIES : In a food processor, add the first seven ingredients.
  3. You must be able to form a paste with this mixture, don’t hesitate to add water if necessary !
  4. Spread the dough on baking paper (covered with coconut oil so that it doesn’t stick), then using a cookie cutter (or a small glass) form circles. To make sure it doesn’t stick, dip your cookie cutter in warm water before making your circles.
  5. Put these cookies in the fridge while you make the filling.
  6. TO MAKE THE FILLING : Put all the rest of the ingredients in the robot (or blender he’s powerful / if you have patience haha).
  7. You must get a creamy, non-liquid paste.
  8. You can now cover the cookies with the filling and put a cookie on top. Voilà !!!
