I’m here today to share a recipe of vegan apple crumble. SO EASY !! As usual, it takes little ingredients and it’s super good. Perfect for autumn, it’s vegan, paleo, gluten-free and healthy.

I discovered this recipe this summer. I was craving apple crumble, and as that time, I only ate raw food (tell me if you would like an article on my experience of eating only raw food and why i did it…) so, i was looking for a raw recipe. Eating raw allows you to get all the advantage of food !

VEGAN AND PALEO APPLE CRUMBLE

The perfect healthy snack for this autumn !! It gives energy and fills you up as the same time (thanks to dates and nuts). A super good mix !! So if you come back from school or work and want to eat something good, seasonal, quick to make and healthy, I really advise you to try this !

Ingredients

For: 4 personnes
  • 5  apples 
  • 1 cup of nuts 
  • 10  medjool dates 
  • 1  lemon 
  •  A pinch of cinnamon 
  •  A pinch of nutmeg 
  •   some vanilla 

Instructions

  1. In the food processor, add the nuts with only 4 dates. Mix until it looks like the top of the crumble.
  2. Cut 3 apples in small pieces (or quarters according to your preferences). Then mix with some lemon juice. Set them aside while making the filling.
  3. To make the “filling”, add to the food processor, 2 cut apples with lemon juice, 6 medjool dates, some vanilla extract* and spices. The consistency must be like a puree.
  4. That's all you have to do !

(I was inspired by this video to make this beautiful crumble)

When I took pictures of this recipe, I didn’t have any vanilla anymore. But I really recommend adding it because it’s super good ! (I use vanilla powder).

Obviously by making this crumble, I made a mistake… I added the dates all of a sudden instead of putting 4 during the first stage then 6 in the filling. So, I added the mixture of nuts and dates in the filling. In the end the taste is the same, it’s just the texture that changes.
